Police conclude public meeting investigation

The Calgary Police Service has concluded an investigation into allegations of assault and threats stemming from a City of Calgary public meeting.

Police were engaged by The City of Calgary’s Corporate Security on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, following a Southwest Transitway public meeting held the evening prior at the Woodcreek Community Hall, located at 1991 Woodview Dr S.W.

Police interviewed a number of witnesses that attended the meeting about the alleged incident that occurred and determined that there is not enough evidence to warrant charges.
