Victim identified in fatal shooting - Sunalta

Following an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the victim of an early morning shooting in Sunalta has been identified.

On Thursday, April 9, 2020, Jovaughan MEEK, 28, of Calgary, was found in medical distress in his vehicle at the 1500 block of 16 Ave. S.W. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further details are available at this time.
