Update: Police investigate fatal assault in Capitol Hill

The victim in the fatal assault that occurred yesterday, Thursday, July 2, 2026, has now been identified.

After completion of an autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Dale WEASEL HEAD.

The one person taken into custody yesterday has since been released. The investigation is ongoing.
