UPDATE: Police investigate break and enter resulting in missing pet

The dog that was reported missing after a break and enter in the northwest community of Thorncliffe has been found and returned to its family.

The investigation into the break and enter is ongoing.

On Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, police were called to the 100 block of 59 Avenue N.W., for reports of a residential break and enter. 

It is believed sometime between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., a suspect or suspects forcefully entered a home. Police continue to investigate, and currently no suspects are in custody.
