UPDATE #2 – Police investigate suspicious death in Rundle

Earlier this week, we charged one woman with manslaughter in relation to the suspicious death of a man in the northeast community of Rundle on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022. The death is now deemed a homicide.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, an autopsy completed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the identity of the victim as Carl CROW CHIEF, 26, of Calgary. CROW CHIEF died as a result of an assault.

Following investigation, it is believed this incident was domestic in nature.

Alexis Ronnie JERRY, 18, of Calgary, is charged with one count of manslaughter. JERRY is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022.
