UPDATE – Police investigate suspicious death in Rundle

We have charged one woman with manslaughter after the suspicious death of a man that occurred in the northeast community of Rundle over the weekend.

Shortly after 12 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, police were called to the 100 block of Rundleson Way N.E., for reports that a man had been assaulted.

Upon arrival, first responders located a man who appeared to be severely injured, and despite life-saving efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit now believes this death was the result of a fatal assault. An autopsy is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at 9 a.m.

Alexis Ronnie JERRY, 18, of Calgary, is charged with one count of manslaughter.

JERRY is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022
