UPDATE #2 – Police investigate fatal shooting in Forest Lawn

Investigators are searching for a man accused of the fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022.

We are asking for the public’s support to locate Yosief HAGOS, 22, in relation to the homicide of Samuel WELDAY HAILE, 24, of Calgary. HAGOS is wanted Canada-wide for second degree murder.

HAGOS is described as 5’11” tall, approximately 140 pounds, with a slim build.

We ask members of the public to exercise caution if you believe you see or know the suspect, as he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. All sightings should be reported by calling 9-1-1.
