Update #2 - Undetermined death in northwest Calgary

We continue to investigate an underdetermined death that occurred in the community of Banff Trail and are seeking public assistance to identify a person of interest we believe to have critical information regarding this incident.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, we were called for reports of a man found unresponsive on a road near the intersection of 18 Avenue/Victoria Crescent and 20 Street N.W. The man was declared deceased on scene.

We are looking to speak to a woman who is believed to have been the last person to have had contact with the man prior to his death.

The woman is described as having long blonde hair and multiple tattoos on her arms. She was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, driving a 2009 white GMC Sierra truck near the Calgary Drop-In Centre located at 1 Dermot Baldwin Way S.E.

The 2009 white GMC Sierra truck, which was previously sought by police, and the woman was seen driving in, has since been recovered by police.
