Undetermined death in Fish Creek Park

The Medical Examiner and the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit are currently on scene after a body was located in Fish Creek Park this morning.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, police were called to an area in Fish Creek Park near the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant for reports of a body being found.

It is not yet known if this death is criminal in nature, or a result of suicide. An autopsy will take place to determine cause and manner of death, as well as identification of the deceased.
