Two brothers charged in homicide of Jordan MOORE

The Calgary Police Service has charged two brothers in relation to the homicide of Jordan MOORE, 34, of Calgary.

At approximately 12:10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, police were called to the alleyway behind the 100 block of 15 Street N.W., for reports of an injured man suffering from a gunshot wound.

It is believed an altercation took place sometime between 11 and 11:30 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, when shots were fired.

After multiple search warrants were executed, two men were taken into custody, but were later released. They remained suspects and were arrested on Thursday, March 7, 2019.

Jermaine Bailey, 30, and Xavier Bailey, 25, both of Calgary, are charged with one count each of first degree murder.

Their next scheduled court date is tomorrow, Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Investigators believe the accused and the victim were not known to each other, however the incident that led to the homicide was not random.
