Third person charged in Blake WALKER homicide

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has made a third arrest in relation to the death of Blake Louis WALKER.

On Friday, June 25, 2021, WALKER, 37, was found deceased in a parking lot of an apartment complex near the 2600 block of 38 Street N.E.

“This investigation has required us to collect evidence through the course of many months in order to find those responsible” says Staff Sergeant Colin Chisholm of the CPS Homicide Unit. “While our homicide unit has seen a heavy case load as of late, we continue to ensure each investigation is given the priority they so rightly deserve.”

Maryann SMITH, 21, of Calgary, is charged with one count of second-degree murder. She had her first court appearance today.

Austen Cole JAMIESON, 27, and Sajid Courtland HOLLOWAY, 29, have previously been charged with one count each of first-degree murder in relation to this case.
