Arrests made in Rundle homicide

The Calgary Police Service has arrested two people in relation to a homicide in Rundle.

On Friday, June 25, 2021, a man was found deceased near the 2600 block of 38 Street N.E. Blake Louis WALKER, 37, of Calgary, was identified as the victim.

On Saturday, June 26, 2021, a vehicle related to the homicide, was located by CPS Patrol members.

Today, two people have been charged.

Austen Cole JAMIESON, 27, and Sajid Courtland HOLLOWAY, 29, are charged with one count each of first-degree murder. Both JAMIESON and HOLLOWAY will next appear in court Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

“This investigation is ongoing,” says Staff Sergeant Colin Chisholm of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit. “We thank the public for their assistance and remind everyone to share information with us, so that we can make sure public safety is maintained.”
