Seeking public assistance in theft of jewelry and gemstones

The Calgary Police Service is seeking the public’s help for information in relation to a break and enter that resulted in the theft of jewelry, gemstones, cash and collectibles.

Sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 7:40 p.m., on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, an unknown culprit(s) forced entry into a residence, located in the northwest community of Silver Springs. The owner returned to find the home had been rummaged through and a number of valuables taken.

Investigators obtained information that a black or dark-coloured SUV, possibly a Toyota RAV4, with a male driver was seen in the area and may be connected to the incident.
