Seeking public assistance in Glenmore Trail shooting
We are looking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle believed to have been involved in a targeted shooting that occurred on a busy roadway yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, we were called to eastbound Glenmore Trail, near Macleod Trail S.E., for reports of a shooting involving two vehicles. Officers located one of the vehicles, a Grey Honda Civic, pulled over nearby. The driver, a man in his 20s, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Investigators are now looking for the public’s help to identify the second vehicle involved, believed to be a silver sedan.
Anyone who was travelling on Glenmore Trail, yesterday, Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, between 6 and 7 p.m., and has dashcam footage or witnessed this incident, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234.
