Seeking assistance to locate suspect vehicle

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is seeking public assistance to locate a vehicle believed to be involved in a homicide that occurred earlier this week.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, police were called to the 100 block of Panamount Villas N.W., for reports of a shooting. Roy Chi Yan MAC, 38, died as a result of the shooting.

Earlier this week, police shared that the suspects involved in the shooting may have been in the Panamount Villas area earlier in the day on Monday. The attack appears to have been targeted.

The vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects in the murder is described as a dark-coloured, 2013 to 2018 model Dodge Ram 1500 Sport crew cab truck with dark wheels or rims. It is alleged that the suspects arrived in the vehicle prior to the victim returning home and that they then fled the scene in the vehicle after the shooting.

Stock photos of a similar vehicle are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the truck is asked to contact the police non-emergency number, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers anonymously using either of the following methods.
