Seeking assistance to locate stolen wedding ring

Police are hoping someone may recognize a unique wedding ring that was stolen from a vehicle last week in southwest Calgary.

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., a wedding ring was taken from the victim’s car, which was parked in front of a residence located in the 4000 block of Crestview Road S.W.

A neighbour identified the suspect as a White man, 25 to 30 years old with a slim build, approximately 5’10 to 6’0 tall, and wearing red sweatpants.

The custom ring is described as white gold (silver) with pave-set diamonds valued at $20,000.
