Police seek assistance to identify man after public sexual assault

We are looking to identify a man who is believed to have sexually assaulted a woman last month in the southwest community of Glenbrook.

On Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the victim was exiting a store after shopping at the Richmond Square shopping centre when an unknown man approached her and requested a photo. The victim agreed to the photo and the man proceeded to touch her in a sexual manner without her consent. The victim was able to flee to a nearby store and request assistance.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 35 years old, with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. At the time of the sexual assault, he was wearing a black and white striped shirt, black sweatpants, a dark-coloured watch on his left wrist and a silver bracelet on his right wrist.
