Police investigate serious-injury CTrain collision

Our Traffic Section is investigating a collision that occurred early Monday morning, where a pedestrian was struck by a CTrain.

At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, a CTrain passenger – a man in his 30s – exited the CTrain at the Lions Park station. The man tried to reboard the train as it departed and fell between the first and middle car.

Investigators believe the train operator was unaware of the pedestrian falling between the cars and continued on the route. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The train operator and other train passengers were not injured.

Impairment on the part of the pedestrian is believed to be a factor in the collision.
