Police continue to search for stabbing suspect

The Calgary Police Service continues to search for a man wanted in connection with a double stabbing that occurred Monday morning, and it is believed the man is still somewhere in north Calgary.

At approximately 7:45 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, police were called to a house in the 200 block of Huntcroft Road N.E., after a man and woman inside the house were stabbed. Police entered the house and found the man in life-threatening condition and the woman in serious condition.

Both were transported to hospital and have since been upgraded to serious but stable condition.

Warrants have been issued for Qisong ZHOU, 50, of Calgary, in connection with this incident. Police have been searching for ZHOU since the incident and he was last seen this morning at a Royal Bank located in Beddington, around 10 a.m.
