Police respond to double stabbing in Huntington Hills

The Calgary Police Service is looking for a man after two people were stabbed early this morning in the Community of Huntington Hills.

At approximately 7:45 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, police were called to a house in the 200 block of Huntcroft Road N.E., after a man and woman inside the house were stabbed. Police entered the house and found the man in life-threatening condition and the woman in serious condition. Both were transported to hospital.

There were two other adults and three children inside the house at the time, all of which are now safe.

Police are still working to locate a suspect in the area. He is described as Chinese, in his 50s, wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt.

Police do not believe this attack was random.
