Police arrest man charged with drug offences

The Calgary Police Service has located and arrested Christopher Eric ELSON, a man wanted on warrants in connection with a large fentanyl and weapons seizure last December.

Police officers found ELSON in a bar located in the 3700 block of Memorial Drive S.E. late on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was arrested without incident.

In total, he had over 30 outstanding warrants related to drug charges, property crime charges, assault charges, and failing to comply with multiple court orders.

The Calgary Police Service would like to thank the media and public for their help in trying to locate him.
