Man wanted on warrants arrested

The Calgary Police Service has arrested a man wanted on warrants in relation to a shooting that occurred earlier this month.

Last week, police sought public assistance to locate Justin David FOGG, who was wanted on 18 warrants in relation to a shooting that occurred on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019.

As a result of tips from the public, FOGG was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019.

Upon his arrest, police seized items related to the shooting, as well as methamphetamine, GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate), brass knuckles, a taser and bear spray.

Eighteen additional charges were laid including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and ten counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.

FOGG will appear in court on Friday, March 15, 2019.
