Kidnapping investigation results in second man charged

Investigators have identified and arrested a second man believed to be connected in the kidnapping of a woman from outside of her workplace in May 2023. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, Calgary Police Service investigators liaised with the Windsor Police Service to locate and arrest a man, who has since been brought back to Calgary to face charges in relation to the kidnapping.

Enyi-Egbe IDEDEVBO, 28, of Windsor, Ont., is charged with one count of kidnapping.

IDEDEVBO is scheduled to next appear in court on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.
