Calgary, AB,

Investigators continue to search for information on missing man – STEVENSON

Our investigators have worked diligently to locate a man who has been missing since August and are seeking new information, as it is now believed he may have been the victim of foul play.

As the search progressed, investigators determined that Christopher STEVENSON, 37, was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, entering a building in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue S.E. He was wearing a two-toned flat-brimmed baseball cap, a hoodie bearing images of skulls, black pants, white shoes, and a black medical mask.

In the days leading up to his disappearance, he was seen driving a grey 2021 Dodge Ram truck with Alberta licence plate CPR 3434.

Investigators located the truck outside of Calgary city limits, along with his dog, who was found roaming in the area. The discovery of his vehicle and dog furthered investigators’ suspicions that foul play may be involved.

There have been no footprints of life since Christopher was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, and our Homicide Unit has been engaged to look for answers surrounding his disappearance.

“We have been piecing together Christopher’s activities leading up to his disappearance and are asking anyone who may have been in recent contact with him or anyone with information regarding his vehicle to come forward,” said Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit. “CCTV and the tips we have received thus far have been critical in helping us advance this investigation, and we hope that someone out there has the final piece to the puzzle.”

Today, Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, officers are executing a search warrant in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue S.E. and have taken two people into custody for questioning in relation to this case.

Anyone with information on Christopher’s whereabouts or who may have interacted with him prior to his disappearance is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers using any of the following methods:
