Homicide Update - Sunalta Shooting

In addition to the updates that were provided earlier today in relation to two homicides, we would also like to share with you this update in relation to the Sunalta shooting last week. 

Sunalta Shooting – April 9, 2020

We are actively seeking a man who has information in relation to a fatal shooting in Sunalta.

On Thursday, April 9, 2020, Jovaughan MEEK, 28, of Calgary, was found in medical distress in his vehicle located in the 1500 block of 16 Ave. S.W. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators believe Taylor CALFCHILD, 24, who also goes by Taylor HALL, has information in relation to the murder of MEEK.

CALFCHILD is described as approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair. 

CALFCHILD may have ties to Calgary and Siksika Nation.
