Homicide suspect arrested

Earlier today, investigators arrested a man wanted on second-degree murder charges.

At approximately 3:50 p.m. today, Friday, May 6, 2022, police arrested Gerald Russell FROMMELT, 37, at a residence in the 1900 block of 24 Street S.W.

FROMMELT is believed to be responsible for the murder of Jaime SCHEIBLE who was killed on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in the northeast community of Temple.
