Double fatal shooting in southeast Calgary

The Calgary Police Service is currently on scene of what is believed to be a shooting that resulted in the death of two people.

At approximately 7:55 p.m., Sunday, May 21, 2017, police were called to a parking lot in the area of 130 Avenue and 48 Street S.E., for reports of gunshots. Two men were found deceased upon arrival.

Details are limited at this time. The Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate and officers are speaking with witnesses as well as canvassing the area for CCTV.

No one is in custody at this time and suspect descriptions are not available at this early stage of the investigation.
