Dashcam sought in Marlborough Park fatal shooting

We are looking for the public’s help to collect dashcam footage in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier today.

We were called just before 2 p.m., today, Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, for reports of a shooting that occurred in a parking lot at the Trans Canada Centre, located in the 1400 block of 52 Street N.E. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased man. Two additional victims, a woman and a man, were also located at the scene and transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, where they have since been upgraded to stable condition.

It is believed the offenders fled the scene in a black truck prior to police arrival. Officers have since recovered the truck, however, are looking for any dashcam footage that may have captured this incident. 

Anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV from the following areas is asked to contact police. Specifically, officers are looking for footage of suspicious vehicles, individuals or activity, including any vehicles travelling at high rates of speed in any of these areas.

• The area surrounding the Trans Canada Centre, located in the 1440 block 52 Street N.E., between 1:40 and 2 p.m.
• The area surrounding Chinook Centre, located in the 6400 block of Macleod Trail S.W., between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m.
• The area surrounding the 3400 block of 30A Avenue S.E., around 4 p.m.

As this is an ongoing investigation, no further updates are available at this time.
