City of Calgary statement on Province of Alberta COVID-19 update

The City of Calgary is supportive of the additional measures implemented by the province yesterday and are waiting for the official Provincial Health Orders to review and understand the impacts on our own services, operations and facilities. We will work closely with the Province to determine how we can support the Public Health Orders at the municipal level. Regardless, The City’s face mask bylaw will stay in place through the State of Public Health Emergency.

In the meantime, The City encourages all eligible Calgarians to get the vaccine to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community at alberta.ca/COVID19.
