CCTV linked to February shooting

Investigators are releasing photos in relation to a shooting that occurred in February 2020 with the hopes of identifying a suspect.

On Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at approximately 3 a.m., a black 2012 Jaguar XF was parked in the 3500 block of 17 Avenue S.E., with two male occupants in the front seats. As the Jaguar pulled away, an unknown man ran up to the vehicle and fired a gun at the occupants. The driver was shot in the shoulder and the passenger was shot in the back.

The driver drove to a nearby hospital where the two victims received treatment and police were called. Both men have since been released form hospital and are still receiving treatment for their injuries

After reviewing CCTV from the scene, it is believed that a man had been waiting in the area of the shooting for at least an hour before the shooting.

Investigators are releasing a photo of the man and are asking anyone who can identify him to come forward.
