AMBER Alert Information:

The Calgary Police Service issued an AMBER Alert for a child they believe was abducted from a home in Calgary’s Panorama Hills community sometime on Monday, July 11, 2016. This alert has since been cancelled.

It is believed the child was abducted from a residence in the 1000 block of Panamount Boulevard N.W. The girl's mother, Sara BAILLIE, was found deceased in the same residence and police are actively investigating her homicide.

The abducted girl was Taliyah (pronounced Ta-LEE-ah) Leigh MARSMAN. Taliyah was 5-years-old, of mixed race, with a slim build, brown curly hair and blue eyes. She may have been wearing red or pink boots with white polka dots and may have been carrying a reddish-coloured suitcase at the time.

Police were looking for a vehicle of interest in the early hours of Tuesday, however this vehicle has since been located. Police are still looking for a family who may have had contact with Taliyah and her mother the day before her abduction.

Anyone with information on these homicides is asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 and refer to case #16300932.
