Police investigate suspicious death in Panorama

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a suspicious death in the northwest community of Panorama.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., on Monday, July 11, 2016, police were called to a home in the 1000 block of Panamount Boulevard N.W., after family members of a female resident were unable to reach her. A woman in her 30s was found deceased in the home.

The woman’s daughter is the subject of an AMBER Alert issued by the Calgary Police Service at approximately 1:40 a.m., on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. The whereabouts of five-year-old Taliyah Leigh MARSMAN remain unknown.

Police are speaking with witnesses and persons of interest in relation to this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
