Additional arrests made in Allan TEATHER homicide

Earlier today, Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, members of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit arrested two additional men in connection with the murder of Allan TEATHER.

New evidence in the case was able to link two men from Calgary to the murder. Investigators are currently interviewing the suspects. Additional details about the suspects’ involvement in the murder are not expected to be released until formal charges are laid.

On Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, investigators and members of the Vancouver Police Department arrested a man in Vancouver for his alleged involvement in the 2008 murder of TEATHER. The man was questioned and released pending further investigation.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, police arrested and charged Brian CHENG, 34, of Calgary with one count of first-degree murder following an appeal for information from the public.

TEATHER was shot and killed on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in the parkade of a condo complex in the 100 block of Village Heights S.W. Police continue to investigate this incident and believe the homicide was targeted and financially motivated.
