Police investigating after man approached teenage girls

The Calgary Police Service is investigating after a man inappropriately approached teenage girls on three separate occasions in the communities of Evergreen and Bridlewood.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, a man approached a teenage girl along Bridlewood Road S.W., asked her for directions and then asked if he can give her a ride. The girl declined and then the man began to touch himself before driving away.

It is believed the same man then approached another teenage girl approximately half an hour later along Eversyde Avenue S.W., and did the same thing. Police have been investigating since, but now believe the man has approached a third teenage girl today, Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m., along Everridge Drive S.W.

In all three incidents, the girls were in their mid-teens and were of Asian decent.

The man is described having brown skin and possibly being either Asian or Hispanic. He is in his 20s, with a slim build and some facial hair. In two of the cases, he was wearing a camouflage-coloured top.

The vehicle driven by the suspect is described as a white, two-door car with black seats. Investigators believe from the witness descriptions that it may be a Honda Civic.

Anyone with information on these incidents or the identify of the man is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers using any of the following methods:
