YouthLink hosts Spooktacular Halloween event

On behalf of our partner agency YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre, we are sharing the below event with you.

YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre is hosting a Spooktacular family-friendly Halloween event

Calgary, AB: October 25, 2021 - Calling all goblins and ghouls! YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre invites Calgary families to join us for our Halloween event…if you dare!

On Saturday, October 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., YouthLink’s monster mash will be buzzing with fang-tastic activities. Our spooky guests can participate in gross out stations (is it cold spaghetti or brains?), join the costume contest, enjoy free candy and help us solve the mystery of the floor board mummy.

In July 1948, a homeowner uncovered the mummified remains of an adult male under the floorboards of his house. There was a hole in the skull and an empty envelope clutched in the victim’s right hand. Calgary Police were called, and the case was deemed a homicide.

The remains were identified as Thomas Hall, an eccentric man who had isolated himself from friends and family and had not been seen for over 20 years. Guests of YouthLink can put on their detective’s hat and try to figure out why no one reported that Mr. Hall was missing and who the likely culprit was.

In a continued effort to keep guests safe, YouthLink has timed entry. All visitors coming to the centre must pre-boooook their museum visit at youthlinkcalgary.com.

Tickets are $7 per person and kids under 4 are free!
