YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre to unveil new name at 30th anniversary celebration

YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre will mark its 30th anniversary on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with the public unveiling of a new organizational name, signaling an expanded vision for community safety, education and public engagement.

The new name will be revealed during a milestone evening celebration attended by Alberta Deputy Premier and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Services Mike Ellis, Calgary Mayor Jeromy Farkas and Calgary Police Service Chief Katie McLellan.

The event will also feature the launch of a new Cyber Safety Exhibit, designed to help young people, families and educators navigate today’s digital risks. There will also be a major provincial funding announcement to support YouthLink Calgary’s crime prevention initiatives.
