Youth Employment Centre Open for In-person Appointments

The City of Calgary’s Youth Employment Centre is returning to in-person, walk-in appointments. Youth ages 15-24 can visit the centre any time between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday, for 1-to-1 employment counsellor support and many other free career development opportunities and employment services.

All current COVID-19 policies and safety requirements will be followed. If you are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and call the centre instead at (403) 268-2490.

“We are excited to open our doors again and welcome back youth from all over the city,” said Arlas Gillies, Social Programs Coordinator with the Youth Employment Centre. “There are several high-quality employers out there looking to hire immediately and we can connect employers with youth looking for experience to build their resumes.”

The Youth Employment Centre is in the Alberta Trade Centre at 315 10 Avenue SE. The building is accessible by LRT and limited parking is available.

The health and safety of citizens, customers and employees remains the top priorities for The City of Calgary as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic in Alberta. Visit calgary.ca/covid19 for more information about The City’s response.
