Wanted on Warrant - Sexual Assault

After many attempts to locate a suspect wanted for sexually touching a woman without consent, a warrant has now been issued for his arrest and we are seeking assistance from the public to locate him.

The incident occurred on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at a social-sector agency downtown, where the man used force against an employee to touch her in a sexual manner without consent.

On Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, charges against the man were laid by way of warrant. Numerous attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and we are asking the public for information on his whereabouts.

Papi MUYEMBI CHIYOMBO, 40, is described as approximately 6’ tall and 210 pounds, with short, dark hair. He often wears a light-blue denim jacket with an image of Donald Duck printed on the back. Photos of MUYEMBI CHIYOMBO are attached to this news release.
