Vote of the Electors Update (Vote 2018)

Today Council approved a Vote of the Electors in respect to Calgary hosting the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Vote 2018 will be take place on Tuesday, November 13 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The question on the ballot will be:

Are you for or are you against Calgary hosting the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games?

__ I am for Calgary hosting

__ I am against Calgary hosting

The Municipal Government Act provides that Council may submit a question to be voted on by electors (“Vote of the Electors”). The Vote of the Electors will be conducted in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.
