Vote of the Electors 2018: Advance Vote

Today is the first day of Advance voting for Vote 2018. Advance Voting will take place on Nov. 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in all 14 wards. All eligible voters can vote during advance vote. We encourage voters to vote at the closest voting station to their home.

Ballot marking devices will be available at all Ward advance vote locations. These devices are designed to provide assistance to voters who have vision loss or have a disability or medical condition which makes it difficult to traditionally mark a ballot independently.

Post Secondary Vote: On Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. a vote station will be available at Mount Royal University. On Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. a vote station will be available at the University of Calgary.

The list of voting stations is available online at calgary.ca/vote2018. On the website, there is an application called “Where do I vote?” Voters may enter their address on this page and will be informed of their Voting Station name and address. Voters can also find their voting station by contacting 311, by contacting the Elections and Census Office at 403-476-4100 or election@calgary.ca

Reminder: campaigning is not allowed at voting stations so we ask that you do not wear any Olympic clothing or paraphernalia when you head out to vote.
