UPDATE #2: Suspect image released in hit-and-run investigation
Police are now releasing an image of a man believed to be responsible for a hit-and-run collision that occurred last month in the northeast community of Bridgeland.
Following further investigation, police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the man believed to be driving the older-model, silver Honda Odyssey, that is believed to be involved in the collision.
He is described as approximately 20 to 25 years old, with a slim build, short, dark hair, and was last seen wearing a black and white Nike hoodie.

UPDATE: Vehicle image released in hit-and-run investigation
Following inquiries with local businesses, a CCTV photo of the vehicle believed to have been involved in the hit-and-run collision in a parking lot last weekend is being shared with the public in hopes of identifying the driver.
The minivan involved in the collision is described as an older-model silver, Honda Odyssey. We are appealing to the involved driver to please come forward.
The victim remains in hospital in serious-but-stable condition.

Police investigate hit-and-run collision in Bridgeland
Our Traffic Unit is investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred at a gas station in Bridgeland yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, it is believed that a male pedestrian fell and was lying in a parking lot at Centex Memorial, located at 12 Fourth Street N.E.
While the man was on the ground, a light-coloured minivan, driven by a man who appears to be in his 20s, reversed out of a parking stall before pulling forward and turning northbound. When the minivan pulled forward, the front passenger side of the vehicle rolled over the pedestrian.
The minivan stopped and the driver opened his door and looked around and underneath his vehicle. He then closed the door and pulled forward, running over the pedestrian with the rear wheels.
The minivan turned eastward into the alley at the rear of the parking lot and stopped for a short time before turning north onto Edmonton Trail.
At this time, police believe it is likely the driver of the minivan was unaware of the pedestrian until the collision took place.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious, life-altering injuries.
Impairment on the part of the pedestrian is being investigated as a possible factor in the collision. Excessive speed is not considered to be a factor.
