Update: Undetermined death in Carrington

Update: The man who was found deceased has been identified. As the death remains undetermined and the incident remains under investigation, no further information can be shared at this time.

Following an autopsy completed today, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in relation to the death of a man in the northwest community of Carrington, the death remains undetermined and the man remains unidentified.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., on Monday, April 7, 2025, police were called to a home in the 200 block of Carrington Crescent N.W., for reports of a break and enter. Upon arrival, officers located one man deceased.

The deceased is believed to have entered the home without permission, however, the intent behind his entry is still unknown.

Police and the Medical Examiner’s office have been unable to identify the man. The death remains undetermined at this time and the investigation is ongoing. We are releasing photos of the man that were captured on CCTV before his death, along with images of his tattoos, in the hope that a member of the public will recognize him and help us locate and notify his next of kin.
