Update: Suspicious death in Beddington Heights

After an autopsy completed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, today, Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, the death that occurred in the community of Beddington Heights has been deemed non-criminal. As such, no further information will be released.

We are currently on scene assisting the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) with investigating a suspicious death in the northwest community of Beddington Heights.

On Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at approximately 5:30 p.m., we were called for reports of a man in medical distress in the 0 to 100 block of Bermuda Drive N.W. Upon arrival, officers located one man deceased.

Investigators and the OCME are trying to determine if the circumstances of the man’s death are suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.

No additional details are available at this time. Should this death be deemed a homicide, more details will be shared.
