UPDATE: Public Hearing Closed (March 23, 2026)

The Public Hearing portion of Council’s March 23, 2026 Public Hearing Meeting on the Repeal of Blanket Rezoning (Land Use Bylaw 1P2007 Amendments Implementing Citywide Residential Rezoning) LOC2026-0010, C2026-0153 (Proposed Bylaw 9P2026) has now concluded.

This means:

  • Public submissions are no longer being accepted for distribution to Council
  • No additional public speakers will be called

A total of 554 members of the public registered to speak during the Public Hearing, and 411 public speakers addressed Council during the Public Hearing. There were a total of 3,293 written submissions received and distributed.

Calgary City Council has recessed today’s continuation of the March 23 Public Hearing Meeting of Council and the Meeting will resume at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8.
