Update: Police seek public assistance in identifying witness to assault

We would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in locating the witness to an assault that took place earlier this month in the northeast.

We are asking the public for their help in identifying a man who is believed to be a witness to an assault that occurred earlier this month in the northeast. 

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at approximately 9:10 a.m., the suspect entered a residential building in the community of Harvest Hills and approached a woman. A physical struggle ensued between them resulting in the man assaulting the woman. Thankfully the woman was able to call police for help. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. 

Police are looking to speak with a man who was making deliveries in the area at the time the incident occurred, who may have information that could help advance the investigation.
