Update: Police investigating undetermined death at SAIT

Following an autopsy completed today, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in relation to a deceased person located inside a student residence at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), the death remains undetermined. 

Our Homicide Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and are asking anyone with information to come forward. At this time, the identity of the victim, a woman in her 20s, is not being released.
