Update: Police investigate suspicious deaths in Penbrooke Meadows

Following autopsies completed yesterday, the suspicious deaths that occurred on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, have been deemed a murder-suicide.

Out of respect for the impacted family, and the privacy of a child who was believed to be present during the incident and who shares a surname, the identities of the individuals are not being released.

The child was unharmed and is being cared for by family.

“This event is steeped in tragedy and has forever impacted the lives of a family,” says Acting Staff Sergeant Ken Carriere. “Our condolences go out to the family and friends who have been impacted.”
