Update: Police investigate fatal altercation

One teen has been charged in relation to the fatal altercation that occurred on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

A 17-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to Thursday’s stabbing. He cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused will next appear in court on Monday, June 10, 2024.

This is Calgary’s eighth homicide of 2024.
