Update on 17 Avenue Upgrades

Calgary – This spring, The City of Calgary will continue its investment in 17 Avenue S., rebuilding the road, upgrading utilities, improving sidewalks and intersections. This important work ensures 17 Avenue S. remains a vibrant community and destination for generations to come.

The City is hosting two public information sessions (April 4 and 7) for people who live and work in the area. They’ll learn more about the 2018 construction schedule, how to access the area, and have an opportunity to have their questions and comments addressed by the project team.

Work on upgrading the Avenue is scheduled to begin in mid-April (weather-dependent).

The media are invited to attend a sneak peek at the information for the 2018 construction season, where the Project Manager will be available for interviews.
