Update #4: Homicide Unit investigation at Sunalta CTrain Station

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has located a man believed to have information about a fatal altercation that occurred at the Sunalta CTrain Station.

The man, who was seen on CCTV footage circulated to the public last week, was located in Saskatchewan and was interviewed by investigators. At this time, no charges have been laid and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are not searching for anyone else in relation to this file.

The victim in this case, Eric LAVALLEE, 52, of no fixed address in Calgary, died after an altercation at the station around 11:20 p.m., on Friday, April 28, 2017. CCTV has assisted greatly in this investigation.

It is believed that LAVALLEE and the man spoken to by investigators were known to each other prior to the altercation occurring.
